BANANA NUT MANDARIN ORANGE BREAD

Banana Nut Mandarin Orange Bread image

Number Of Ingredients 11

3 cups Bread Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Chopped Nuts
3 Eggs (well beaten)
1 1/2 cups Oil
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 Bananas (soft, smashed)
11 ounces Mandarin Oranges (drained)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Combine all dry ingredients, including chopped nuts, in a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir in well beaten eggs, oil, bananas, mandarin oranges and vanilla.
  • Pour mix into two greased bread pans.
  • Heat for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.

Tips:

  • To ensure your bread is moist, use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and moister your bread will be.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense bread. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Be sure to grease and flour your loaf pan before pouring in the batter. This will help prevent the bread from sticking.
  • Bake the bread at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help prevent the bread from crumbling.

Conclusion:

This orange banana nut bread is a delicious and moist treat that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. Whether you like your bread with nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit, this recipe is sure to please.
