¼ teaspoon baking soda
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup packed brown sugar
⅓ cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Beat eggs and vanilla together in mixing bowl. Add in brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and walnuts. Mix until well blended.

11/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped red maraschino cherries, well drained
1/2 cup chopped green maraschino cherries, well drained
