Steps:

  • 1. Add cubed meat to a 9 x 13 inch pan.

  • 4. Do not remove foil or peek until done.

Tips:

  • Tenderize the beef: For extra tender beef tips, consider using a meat tenderizer or marinating the beef in a mixture of oil, herbs, and spices before cooking.
  • Use a good quality beef broth: The quality of the beef broth you use will greatly impact the flavor of the dish. Choose a broth that is rich and flavorful, such as a homemade broth or a high-quality store-bought broth.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When searing the beef tips, it is important to not overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the beef from cooking evenly and will result in tough, chewy meat.
  • Cook the beef tips in batches: If you have a lot of beef tips to cook, it is best to cook them in batches. This will ensure that the beef tips are cooked evenly and that they do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Use a meat thermometer: To ensure that the beef tips are cooked to your desired doneness, use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the beef tips should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, and 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
