1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon almond extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup coarsely chopped white chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

1 cup white baking chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking soda; gradually beat into creamed mixture. 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, toasted lightly and chopped coarse
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. and butter and flour a 9-inch square baking pan, knocking out excess flour.
  • In a double boiler or metal bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water melt white chocolate and butter, stirring, until smooth and remove top of double boiler or bowl from heat. Cool chocolate mixture to room temperature.
  • In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until thickened and pale and beat in white chocolate mixture. 1 tablespoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts or slivered almonds
1 cup white baking chips
1 teaspoon shortening

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Grease rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Heat butter and brown sugar in 3-quart saucepan over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted; remove from heat.
  • Beat vanilla and eggs into sugar mixture with electric mixer on medium speed. Beat in flour and baking powder on low speed. Stir in half of the nuts and 1/4 cup of the baking chips. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and 1/2 cup of the baking chips.

1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup salted butter, softened
2 large eggs

1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
