Provided by rrxing

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 oz Baileys Original Irish Cream
1 oz Crème de menthe
1 oz Smirnoff vodka
Ice cubes

Steps:

  • Grab a cocktail shaker, pop your ice cubes in it then pour the Baileys, Smirnoff and crème de menthe into the shaker. Give it a good shake until you've got a smooth liquid. Fill a tumbler with ice and strain your silky, smooth liquid in on top if the ice. Add a sprig of fresh mint to finish. TO FINISH: Sprig of fresh mint

Tips:

  • Chill the ingredients before starting: This will help the chocolate set up more quickly and smoothly.
  • Use a double boiler or heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water to melt the chocolate: This will help prevent the chocolate from overheating and seizing.
  • Stir the chocolate constantly while melting: This will help prevent the chocolate from scorching.
  • Add the peppermint extract to the chocolate after it has melted: This will help prevent the alcohol from evaporating.
  • Garnish the mints with crushed candy canes or chopped nuts before they set: This will add a festive touch and extra flavor.
