Time 10m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 lemons
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup mint
4 cups water
ice cube

Steps:

  • Mash mint and sugar together.
  • Squeeze lemons.
  • Stir together.
  • Add water
  • Stir and pour over ice cubes in glass.

Tips:

  • To make the most flavorful lemonade, use fresh, ripe lemons. If you can, try to find Meyer lemons, which have a sweeter, less tart flavor than regular lemons.
  • Be sure to zest the lemons before juicing them. The zest contains a lot of the lemon's flavor and aroma.
  • If you don't have a juicer, you can extract the lemon juice by hand. Simply cut the lemons in half and squeeze them over a bowl.
  • When making the simple syrup, be sure to stir it constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved. If the sugar doesn't dissolve completely, it will make your lemonade gritty.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of the lemonade to your liking by adding more or less sugar. If you like your lemonade tart, you can also add a little bit of lemon juice.
  • To make a sparkling lemonade, simply add some club soda or sparkling water to your lemonade.
  • For a refreshing summer drink, serve your lemonade over ice.

Conclusion:

Middle Eastern lemonade is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a refreshing drink, give Middle Eastern lemonade a try. You won't be disappointed!
