1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Drizzle glaze over the top of the cake bars.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Tips for Making Meyer Lemon Bars:

  • Use fresh Meyer lemons. The flavor of Meyer lemons is sweeter and less acidic than regular lemons, making them ideal for these bars.
  • Zest the lemons before juicing them. This will release the flavorful oils from the lemon zest, which will enhance the flavor of the bars.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will result in tough, dense bars. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bars until the edges are golden brown and the center is just set. Overbaking will result in dry, crumbly bars.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to set properly and prevent them from falling apart.
  • Dust the bars with powdered sugar before serving. This will add a touch of sweetness and elegance.

Conclusion:

Meyer lemon bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their bright citrus flavor and creamy texture, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet and tangy treat, give these Meyer lemon bars a try. You won't be disappointed!
