Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce (use only low-sodium)
3 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
1 small onions or 2 small green onions, chopped
1 -2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried rosemary (can use less)
1/4 cup A.1. Original Sauce
2 tablespoons steak seasoning, spice (any brand will do, I use Club House Steak Seasoning)
4 (11 -12 ounce) rib eye steaks (or a little smaller, or use steaks of choice)

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of meat: Some cuts of meat are more tender than others, and will therefore respond better to marinating. For example, flank steak, skirt steak, and chicken breasts are all good choices for marinating.
  • Use an acidic marinade: Acidic marinades help to tenderize meat by breaking down the proteins. Good choices for acidic marinades include vinegar, lemon juice, lime juice, and yogurt.
  • Add some fat to the marinade: Fat helps to keep meat moist and flavorful. Good choices for fats in a marinade include olive oil, vegetable oil, and butter.
  • Season the marinade: Don't forget to season your marinade with salt, pepper, and other spices. This will help to give the meat flavor.
  • Marinate the meat for the right amount of time: Over-marinating can toughen the meat, so it's important to marinate it for the right amount of time. The marinating time will vary depending on the cut of meat and the type of marinade.

Conclusion:

Marinating meat is a great way to tenderize it and add flavor. By following the tips above, you can create a marinade that will produce melt-in-your-mouth meat. So next time you're cooking meat, don't forget to marinate it! Your taste buds will thank you.
