MEATY MAC & CHEESE BAKE
Shoestring chef! Create this delicious meal without busting your budget. I found this recipe in Woman's World. I made this for my families dinner. It was quick & easy. When I made this I used shelf stable milk with no problems. I added more cheese for the top. This was a bit bland for my family so next time I think I'll use a homemade sloppy joe mix and add some flavor to the mac & cheese.

Tips:
- Choose the right macaroni. Elbow macaroni is the classic choice for mac and cheese, but you can use any short, pasta shape that you like. Just make sure to cook it al dente, so that it still has a little bit of a bite to it.
- Use a good quality cheese. The type of cheese that you use will make a big difference in the flavor of your mac and cheese. Use a combination of cheeses that melt well, such as cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Make sure the sauce is thick enough. The sauce should be thick enough to coat the macaroni evenly, but not so thick that it's gloppy. If the sauce is too thin, add a little bit of cornstarch or flour to thicken it up.
- Don't overcook the mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is best when it's cooked just until the cheese is melted and bubbly. If you overcook it, the macaroni will become mushy and the cheese will become rubbery.
- Serve the mac and cheese immediately. Mac and cheese is best served hot and fresh out of the oven. If you need to make it ahead of time, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you're ready to serve it, reheat it in a preheated oven until it's hot and bubbly.
Conclusion:
Meaty mac and cheese is a delicious and comforting dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be customized to your own liking. So next time you're looking for a hearty and satisfying meal, give this recipe a try!
