- Preheat oven to 375 Degrees and Grease a 3 Quart Casserole Dish.
- Melt the 1 TBSP Butter over medium heat and add the green bell pepper and onion. Cook until tender, approximately 5 minutes.
- Pour the jar of pasta sauce, the 2 cups of water, the package of frozen meatballs, the 2 1/2 cups of uncooked macaroni, 1 TSP Italian Seasoning directly into the casserole dish. Add the onion and green pepper. Stir all ingredients until combined.
- Bake covered for 45 minutes at 375 Degrees. Remove from oven after the 45 minutes is up and sprinkle the 2 Cups of Mozzarella and 1/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese over the top. Place back in the oven uncovered and broil on high for around 3 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
- This will make 4 Huge Servings or 6 Normal Servings. Freezes Well!

- Preheat oven to 375.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Add egg and Parmesan cheese to spaghetti and stir to combine (I used my hands and it worked well).
- Press spaghetti mixture into the bottom of a sprayed 8x8 glass baking dish. Cover spaghetti mixture with a layer of sliced pepperoni. Cover pepperoni with 1/2 c shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Cook precooked, frozen meatballs according to package directions (I just microwaved them). Cut them in half. Layer the meatball halves over the cheese mixture (number of meatballs is approximate. We used smaller meatballs so adjust to cover the whole casserole).
- Combine spaghetti sauce, garlic powder and dehydrated onion flakes in a bowl. Spoon over meatball layer.
- Sprinkle 1/2 c Mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti sauce mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake approximately another 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Again, the measurements for this recipe are approximately. Please adjust to your own tastes. And I didn't have any on hand but I would've like to have added cooked green peppers to the sauce. So get creative! I'm anxious to hear what combinations everyone comes up with!

This hearty, kid-friendly casserole of meatballs, sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms did not disappoint. It's sort of a cross between a casserole and a stew, and can be served over pasta or polenta, or with a huge hunk of bread to sop up the herb-y tomato sauce. If you'd like, you can easily substitute ground chicken, turkey, pork or veal for the beef in the meatballs (or any combination of them all). - Prepare your own favorite meatball recipe, then shape into about 1-1/2-inch balls.

CHEESY, MEATBALL, VEGGIE CASSEROLE
My SO is trying to cut down on carbs and I'm not,so I wanted to come up with a recipe that both of us would enjoy.If desired, you can brown the meatballs for a better flavor.The time for browning the meatballs isn't included in the cooking time. The "ZAAR" database doesn't have the carb count for the meatballs, and the vegetable blend, so my SO and I figured the amount of carbs for 6 servings would be 13 grams for each serving. - Using your hands, gently mix together pork, beef, breadcrumbs, pecorino, salt, eggs, garlic, and parsley in a large bowl. Form mixture into 2-inch balls.
- Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs; cook, turning, until browned all over, about 10 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add onion and pepper flakes; cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender, about 4 minutes. Add tomatoes and basil; simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is slightly thickened, about 8 minutes. Return meatballs and any juices to pan. Simmer, turning meatballs once, until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
- Heat broiler. Arrange mozzarella on top of meatballs. Broil until melted, 2 to 3 minutes; serve.

- Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pour the hot water into a 3 quart casserole dish. Stir the softened cream cheese into the water. Mix in the sauce mix from the packaged dinner and the nutmeg. Add the uncooked noodles and stir until well combined. Cover and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into golf ball sized meatballs.
