Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 TBSP milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
10 oz bag mini marshmallows
3 Tbsp butter (softened)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
2 Tbsp milk
1 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Whisk together sugar and butter.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, and milk and whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in flour, salt, and mini chocolate chips, stirring until flour is well incorporated.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, until brownies are set. Remove from oven.
  • Once brownies are cooked, remove from oven and spread with marshmallows. Do your best to get them even, but it doesn't have to be perfect- you're going to spread it around a bit afterwards. Return to the oven for about 3 minutes- until marshmallows begin to puff. (You don't want the marshmallows to brown so keep a close eye on them.)
  • Take brownies out of the oven. Cool for about 10-15 minutes. Make the frosting.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips or chopped chocolate for the best flavor.
  • Don't overmix the brownie batter. Overmixing can result in tough, dry brownies.
  • If you don't have a mini muffin tin, you can use a regular muffin tin and make larger brownies.
  • Be careful not to overcook the brownies. If they're overcooked, they'll be dry and crumbly.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before topping them with ganache. This will help the ganache set properly.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate in the brownie batter.
  • For a sweeter flavor, use milk chocolate chips or chopped milk chocolate in the brownie batter.
  • For a fun twist, try adding chopped nuts, dried fruit, or sprinkles to the brownie batter.
  • If you don't have any marshmallow cream on hand, you can make your own by melting marshmallows in a double boiler or in the microwave.
  • If you're short on time, you can use a store-bought chocolate ganache instead of making your own.

Conclusion:

These marshmallow brownie bites are the perfect treat for any chocolate lover. They're fudgy, gooey, and topped with a rich chocolate ganache. They're also easy to make and can be ready in under an hour. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these marshmallow brownie bites a try!
