GRILLED DIJON-MAPLE SALMON

Grilled Dijon-Maple Salmon image

Yummy looking salmon recipe from the Grey Poupon package. Although I haven't tried this recipe yet I imagine you could marinate the salmon in the syrup mixture rather than brush it on while grilling for a more intense flavor. Prep time includes chilling time.

AIR-FRYER SALMON WITH MAPLE-DIJON GLAZE

Air-Fryer Salmon with Maple-Dijon Glaze image

Being landlocked in the Midwest, my kids always thought they disliked fish. This air-fryer salmon dish definitely changed their minds! I cook it on the grill a lot in the summer months, but found that it is just as tasty and more convenient in the air fryer, especially on those busy days! -Jill Fisher, Portland, Indiana

Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon. Look for wild-caught, sustainable salmon that is fresh or frozen. If using frozen salmon, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • Make sure the salmon is cooked to your liking. The best way to do this is to use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 150 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 155 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Don't overcook the salmon. Overcooked salmon will be dry and tough. If you're not sure if the salmon is done, err on the side of caution and cook it for a shorter amount of time.
  • Use a good quality maple syrup. The maple syrup will add a delicious sweetness to the salmon. Make sure to use a pure maple syrup, not a pancake syrup or flavored syrup.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different Dijon mustards. There are many different types of Dijon mustard available, so you can find one that you really enjoy. A whole grain Dijon mustard will add a bit of texture to the sauce.

Conclusion:

Maple Dijon salmon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's a great way to enjoy the flavors of maple syrup and Dijon mustard, and it's sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
