- Use high-quality ground beef. The quality of the meat will greatly affect the flavor of the meatloaf, so it's important to use a good quality ground beef. Look for ground beef that is at least 80% lean.
- Add moisture to the meatloaf. Meatloaf can be dry, so it's important to add moisture to it. This can be done by adding eggs, milk, or bread crumbs to the meatloaf mixture.
- Season the meatloaf well. Meatloaf is a simple dish, so it's important to season it well. Use a variety of spices and herbs to flavor the meatloaf, such as garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Don't overmix the meatloaf mixture. Overmixing the meatloaf mixture will make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Bake the meatloaf in a loaf pan. Meatloaf is traditionally baked in a loaf pan. This helps to keep the meatloaf moist and prevents it from falling apart.
