Tips:
- To achieve perfectly crispy chicken wings, ensure that the chicken wings are patted dry before marinating and cooking. This helps to remove excess moisture and allows the marinade to penetrate the chicken more effectively.
- For a flavorful marinade, use a combination of tangy, sweet, and savory ingredients such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, honey, and ginger. You can adjust the proportions of these ingredients to suit your taste preferences.
- Allow the chicken wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to fully absorb into the chicken.
- Preheat your grill or oven to the recommended temperature before cooking the chicken wings. This helps to ensure that the chicken wings cook evenly and develop a nice char.
- Cook the chicken wings until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to ensure accuracy.
- Serve the chicken wings immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce, kecap manis, or a simple soy sauce and vinegar mixture.
