When my husband and I needed a quick meal, I fixed this recipe using leftover ingredients. Unlike traditional Mexican quesadillas, it calls for Italian meats, cheeses and seasoning. Serve it with a green salad for a simple dinner for two. -Barbara Rupert, Edgefield, South Carolina

Tips:

  • Use a variety of tortillas to add flavor and texture to your quesadillas. Some good options include whole wheat tortillas, corn tortillas, and spinach tortillas.
  • Shred your own cheese for the best flavor and texture. Pre-shredded cheese often contains additives that can make it taste bland.
  • Don't overload your quesadillas with toppings. Too much filling will make them difficult to fold and cook evenly.
  • Cook your quesadillas over medium heat to prevent them from burning. Be patient and cook them until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve your quesadillas with your favorite dipping sauce. Some good options include salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and ranch dressing.

Conclusion:

Pizza quesadillas are a quick and easy lunch or dinner that can be made with a variety of toppings. They are perfect for busy weeknights or for packing in a lunchbox. With a little creativity, you can create endless variations of this delicious and versatile dish. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give pizza quesadillas a try.
