Tips:

  • Prep the Ingredients: Before you start cooking, measure and prep all the ingredients. This will help you stay organized and ensure you have everything you need.
  • Choose Quality Ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Look for ripe tomatoes, crisp bell peppers, and flavorful cheeses.
  • Don't Overcook the Chicken: Chicken can quickly dry out, so cook it just until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). This will ensure it stays juicy and tender.
  • Use a Cast Iron Skillet: A cast iron skillet is ideal for cooking the nachos because it distributes heat evenly and creates a crispy crust.
  • Layer the Nachos Carefully: Start with a layer of tortilla chips, then add the chicken, cheese, and toppings. Repeat this process until you have used up all the ingredients.
  • Broil the Nachos: Broiling the nachos will melt the cheese and create a bubbly, golden-brown crust.
