Tips:
- Use fresh lemons. Fresh lemons will give your snowballs the best flavor. If you can't find fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice, but the flavor will not be as good.
- Grate the lemon zest finely. This will help the lemon flavor to distribute evenly throughout the snowballs.
- Chill the dough before baking. This will help the snowballs to hold their shape. Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes is best.
- Bake the snowballs until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. The snowballs are done when they are lightly browned on the bottom and the tops are no longer shiny.
- Roll the snowballs in powdered sugar while they are still warm. This will help the powdered sugar to stick.
Conclusion:
Lemon snowballs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up leftover egg whites. With their bright lemon flavor and snowball-like appearance, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
