Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh lemon zest and dill add a vibrant flavor to this dish. If you can't find fresh dill, you can use 1 teaspoon of dried dill.
  • Toast the couscous: Toasting the couscous before cooking it gives it a nutty flavor and helps it absorb the cooking liquid better.
  • Don't overcook the couscous: Couscous only takes a few minutes to cook. Overcooking it will make it mushy.
  • Add the lemon-dill mixture at the end: Adding the lemon-dill mixture at the end of cooking will help preserve the fresh flavors of the lemon and dill.
  • Serve immediately: Couscous is best served immediately after it is cooked. It can be reheated, but it will not be as good as when it is freshly made.

Conclusion:

This lemon-dill couscous is a light and refreshing side dish that is perfect for summer gatherings. It is easy to make and can be served with a variety of dishes. The bright flavors of the lemon and dill make it a great choice for a potluck or picnic.
