KIM'S MARS BAR SQUARE

Kim's Mars Bar Square image

I received this at my annual Christmas bake exchange. This treat didn't last long and so I asked for the recipe so I could make another batch myself. This square is quite rich so you can cut it into small pieces. Place into mini muffin cup papers for an extra special touch

1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1/8 cup margarine
1 cup milk chocolate chips

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your Mars bar squares the best flavor. If possible, use homemade marshmallows instead of store-bought.

  • Store the squares in an airtight container at room temperature: They will keep for up to 5 days.
  • For a fun twist, try using different types of chocolate bars in the filling. You could use Snickers, Twix, or Milky Way bars.
