Tips:

  • Use superfine sugar for the smoothest meringue cookies. It will dissolve more easily and prevent grainy cookies.
  • Make sure your egg whites are at room temperature before you start. This will help them whip up to their fullest potential.
  • Whip the egg whites gradually, starting on low speed and increasing it as they start to foam. This will help prevent over-whipping.
  • When you add the sugar, do it slowly, one tablespoon at a time. This will help prevent the meringue from deflating.
  • Bake the cookies at a low temperature for a long time. This will help them dry out and become crispy.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before you store them. This will help them keep their shape and prevent them from sticking together.

Conclusion:

Meringue cookies are a delicious and delicate treat that are perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these cookies at home in no time. Just be sure to follow the tips above to ensure that your cookies turn out perfect.
