1½ fluid ounces Irish whiskey
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 slices lemon
8 whole cloves
6 fluid ounces water (boiling hot)

Steps:

  • Take a slice of lemon and cut it in two semi-circles. Stud each lemon piece with 4 whole cloves.
  • Pre-heat a glass with a handle by scalding it with boiling water and then throwing the water away.
