¼ cup water
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons cold water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sliced green onions, or to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, water, garlic, and red pepper flakes together in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®) and select Saute function. Adjust for medium heat and add sesame oil. Cook chicken in batches in the hot oil, stirring occasionally, until browned, 3 to 5 minutes.

4 each bone-in, skin on chicken thighs
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 garlic clove (blank)s garlic cloves, minced
6 tablespoons water, divided
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
