HOLIDAY PUMPKIN NUT BREAD

Holiday Pumpkin Nut Bread image

My son starts asking for this pumpkin bread before Thanksgiving. I make 2 or 3 batches every week between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Closer to Christmas I make tons for friends, neighbors and my hubbys golf buddys!!! This is probably my favorite thing to make for the Christmas holidays. Tie it with red and green ribbon and it makes a sweet gift.

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start baking, make sure you have all the ingredients and equipment ready. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you don't forget anything important.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your pumpkin nut bread the best flavor. Look for pumpkins that are deep orange in color and have no blemishes. Use fresh nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, for the best flavor and texture.
  • Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing the batter can make the bread tough. Mix until the ingredients are just combined and then stop.
  • Bake the Bread at the Right Temperature: The ideal temperature for baking pumpkin nut bread is 350°F (175°C). This will help ensure that the bread cooks evenly and doesn't burn.
  • Let the Bread Cool Completely: Before you slice and serve the bread, let it cool completely. This will help the bread set and make it easier to slice.

Conclusion:

Pumpkin nut bread is a delicious and festive treat that is perfect for the holiday season. With its moist, tender texture and sweet, nutty flavor, it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy holiday treat, give this pumpkin nut bread recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
