Tips:

  • Use the right gluten-free flour blend: Not all gluten-free flour blends are created equal. For this recipe, a blend that is specifically designed for cakes is best. Some popular brands include King Arthur Measure for Measure Gluten-Free Flour, Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour, and Cup4Cup Gluten-Free Flour.
  • Measure your ingredients accurately: This is especially important for gluten-free baking, as the proportions of ingredients are more delicate. Use a kitchen scale to measure your ingredients, or use measuring cups that have been leveled off with a knife.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough, dense cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined and no streaks of flour remain.
  • Bake the cake in a preheated oven: This helps to ensure that the cake rises evenly and doesn't sink in the middle.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This helps to prevent the frosting from melting and running off the cake.

Conclusion:

This Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake (Gluten-Free) is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with a rich chocolate batter that is gluten-free and topped with a creamy chocolate frosting. The cake is moist and flavorful, and the frosting is smooth and rich. Whether you are gluten-free or not, you will love this cake!
