Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients prepped and measured. This will help you save time and avoid scrambling.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your stir-fry will taste. If possible, use fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices.
  • Marinate Your Chicken: Marinating your chicken in a flavorful mixture of soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and brown sugar will help it stay tender and juicy.
  • Use a Hot Pan: A hot pan is essential for getting a good sear on your chicken and vegetables. Make sure your pan is heated over high heat before adding your ingredients.
  • Stir-Fry in Batches: If you're cooking a large batch of stir-fry, cook it in batches. This will prevent the ingredients from overcrowding the pan and becoming soggy.
  • Sauce It Up: A flavorful sauce is the key to a great stir-fry. Experiment with different sauces to find one that you like. Try a simple soy sauce-based sauce, or a more complex sauce made with oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and ginger.
  • Serve Immediately: Stir-fry is best served immediately after it's cooked. This will ensure that the vegetables are still crisp and the chicken is still tender.
