Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a metal bowl or double boiler over it; make sure the bowl is not touching the water. Add the butter and chocolate squares to the bowl and stir until melted. Pour the melted chocolate into a large glass bowl. Add the sugar, flour, nuts, vanilla and eggs, and mix well.

- Use the parchment paper to lift the brownies from the baking dish. Cut into bars. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with Caramel Sauce. Garnish with additional toppings as desired.
- In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 1/2 cups water. Cook and stir over high heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is a golden color.
- Remove from the heat. Carefully whisk in the cream, half at a time. Stir in the butter and vanilla. Return to medium heat to melt any sugar lumps. Let cool.

Tips:
- To achieve fudgy brownies, it's important to use melted butter rather than softened butter, as this helps to create a chewy texture.
- Make sure to whisk the eggs and sugar together until they are thick and pale, as this will help to incorporate air into the batter and create a light and airy texture.
- Do not overmix the batter, as this can result in a dense and chewy brownie. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
- For a richer brownie, use dark chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%. You can also add a teaspoon of espresso powder to the batter to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- Bake the brownies in a preheated oven, as this will help to ensure that they cook evenly. Do not overbake the brownies, as this can dry them out. A toothpick inserted into the center of the brownie should come out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting or serving. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting and the brownies from falling apart.
Conclusion:
These hard-core brownies with caramel sauce are the perfect treat for any chocolate lover. They are fudgy, chewy, and packed with chocolate flavor. The caramel sauce adds a touch of sweetness and richness that takes these brownies to the next level. Whether you are serving them at a party or enjoying them as a special treat, these brownies are sure to be a hit.
