Tips:

  • Use fresh or leftover ham: Leftover ham is a great way to add flavor and protein to these biscuits. If you're using fresh ham, cook it until it's tender before chopping it into small pieces.
  • Choose your cheese wisely: The type of cheese you use will impact the flavor of the biscuits. Cheddar is a classic choice, but you can also use mozzarella, Parmesan, or Gruyère.
  • Don't overwork the dough: Overworking the dough will make the biscuits tough. Mix the ingredients just until they come together, then stop.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough before baking will help the biscuits rise and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the biscuits until they're golden brown: The biscuits are done baking when they're golden brown on top and cooked through in the center.

Conclusion:

Ham stuffed biscuits with mustard butter are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch dish. They're perfect for using up leftover ham, and they're sure to be a hit with your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a quick and tasty recipe, give these biscuits a try!
