2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
½ cup margarine, melted
24 dinner rolls
½ pound chopped ham
½ pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine onion flakes, mustard, poppy seeds and margarine.
  • Split each dinner roll. Make a sandwich of the ham and cheese and the dinner rolls. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet. Drizzle the poppy seed mixture over the sandwiches.

2 packages hawaiian bread dinner rolls (12 rolls or pkg)
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
2 tablespoons grated onions
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
12 -15 slices deli ham (more if you want a thicker sandwich)
8 -10 slices swiss cheese (more if you like it cheesy)

Steps:

  • Combine softened butter, mustard, grated onion, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce to form a spread.
  • Without separating the rolls, slice the rolls horizontally. Spread the butter mixture on both slices -- inside, not outside. Layer the ham and cheese on bottom slices. Top with the top slices.
  • Cut into individual rolls but keeping them together. Wrap each package of now cut rolls tightly in foil and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until heated and cheese is melted. Just pop the foil packets into the oven. That easy!
  • You can also heat them in a baking dish -- just spray a little Pam or the like on the dish.

6 slices Swiss cheese (3/4 ounce each), cut in half
1 package (12 ounces) Hawaiian sweet rolls, split
1/2 cup spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
3 teaspoons dried minced onion
1-1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Place ham and cheese on each roll bottom. Spread cream cheese over tops. Replace tops. 4 slices boiled ham, sandwich thickness
prepared mustard
4 firm bananas (yellow or slightly green tipped)
1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups grated sharp American cheese

Steps:

  • For sauce, melt butter in saucepan, add flour and stir until smooth.
  • Stir in milk slowly.
  • Add cheese and cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
  • Remove from heat but keep warm.
  • Spread each ham slice lightly with mustard.
  • Peel each banana.
  • Wrap a slice of ham around each banana, mustard side to the banana.
  • Bruch tips of bananas with melted butter.

1 stick of melted margarine

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt

2 egg whites, divided
1 egg
1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 block (4 ounces) cheddar cheese, cubed
2 cups diced fully cooked lean ham

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine 2-1/2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt. In a saucepan, heat milk, water and oil to 120°-130°. Add to dry ingredients; beat just until moistened. Add one egg white and egg; beating until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. , Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. This is my friend Jennifer's recipe that she uses a lot for any function that requires food. Everyone loves these so much that I asked for the recipe. The key to making these taste so good is to cook them so the cheese melts but the rolls do not get toasted. These are also good using roast beef and Havarti cheese.

12 brown and serve dinner rolls
¼ cup honey mustard dressing
¼ cup butter, melted
3 slices Swiss cheese, cut into quarters
6 slices fully cook ham, halved
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, or more if desired

1 (8oz.) can refrigerated pillsbury crescent rolls
8 thin slices of cooked ham (i like the imported)*
8 thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese (i like to use shredded)*
Mustard (any type that you like)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 375'F.
  • 2. Divide dough into 4 squares, pressing seams together to prevent leakage.
  • 3. Spread with mustard (as if you were spreading on bread for a sandwich). Now layer half the ham and cheese.
  • 4. Roll like a jelly Rolland press dough to cl0se seam and openings at both ends.
  • 5. Repeat with second half of dough and fillings.
