This soup is not only packed with nutrients but also incredibly easy to make, making it a perfect weeknight meal or a comforting dish for chilly days.

In this article, we present two variations of this classic soup: a traditional version and a slow cooker version. The traditional method offers a hands-on cooking experience, while the slow cooker version allows you to set it and forget it, making it ideal for busy schedules. Both methods result in a savory and satisfying soup that the whole family will enjoy.

Our traditional recipe starts by browning ground turkey in a large pot, infusing it with rich flavors. Next, an array of chopped vegetables, including carrots, celery, onion, and garlic, are added to create a flavorful base. Red potatoes are then incorporated, along with a blend of herbs and spices for added depth of flavor. Finally, a combination of chicken broth and water is poured in, and the soup is simmered until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.

For those who prefer a more hands-off approach, the slow cooker version offers a convenient alternative. Simply brown the ground turkey in a skillet before transferring it to your slow cooker. Add the chopped vegetables, herbs, spices, and chicken broth, and let the slow cooker do its magic on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The result is a tender and flavorful soup that is perfect for a cozy meal.

Whichever method you choose, this Ground Turkey and Red Potato Veggie Soup is sure to become a family favorite. Its hearty ingredients and flavorful broth make it a comforting and nutritious meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. • Simmer the soup for at least 30 minutes: This will allow the flavors to meld and the vegetables to soften. You can simmer it for longer if you want a more flavorful soup.
  • Season the soup to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor.
