½ cup Burgundy wine
¼ cup barbeque sauce, plus more for basting
¼ cup cider vinegar
¼ cup hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
4 pounds country-style pork ribs
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Stir wine, barbeque sauce, cider vinegar, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard together in bowl until well mixed. Place ribs in a baking dish; pour Burgundy wine mixture over ribs and coat completely.

1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

3 lbs country-style pork ribs, cut into serving pieces (I use the big beef ribs)

Steps:

  • Heat oil over medium heat.
  • Cook oregano and garlic 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat and stir in wine, sugar, salt, and pepper.
