Tips:

  • Select ripe figs: Choose fresh, ripe figs that are slightly soft to the touch. Avoid figs that are too hard or have bruises or blemishes.
  • Use high-quality prosciutto: Opt for thinly sliced prosciutto that is not too salty. This will help ensure that the figs are not overpowered by the saltiness of the prosciutto.
  • Grill the figs over medium heat: This will help prevent the figs from burning and will allow them to cook evenly.
  • Keep an eye on the figs while they are grilling: They can cook quickly, so it is important to watch them closely to prevent them from burning.
  • Serve the figs immediately: This is when they are at their best. You can drizzle them with balsamic glaze or honey for an extra touch of sweetness.
