Steps:
- 1. Put undrained cut or french cut green beans in a pot. Heat slowly.
- 2. Chop bacon and put in frying pan. Saute to crisp or soft..they both work for this. Add chopped onions and saute until just clear.
- 3. Drain green beans and put back in pan. Add bacon and onions. Stir over low heat to keep green beans warm. Add sour cream, salt and pepper. Stir over low heat until sour cream is just heated through. Very low temp works because high heat will cause the sour cream to separate. Enjoy!!

Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh green beans. If you're using frozen green beans, thaw them completely before cooking.
- To make sure the sour cream sauce is smooth, whisk it constantly while it's cooking.
- If you want a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry. To make a cornstarch slurry, mix together equal parts cornstarch and water until it forms a smooth paste. Then, whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce until it reaches the desired consistency.
- You can also add other ingredients to the sour cream sauce, such as chopped fresh herbs, grated cheese, or cooked bacon.
- Serve the green beans in sour cream sauce over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.

Green beans in sour cream sauce is a classic side dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. The creamy, tangy sauce is a perfect complement to the tender green beans.
