BROCCOLI SALAD WITH GRAPES
This broccoli salad with grapes is a perfect salad for a hot summer day. The first time I tried it was at my aunt's 30-acre ranch outside of Dallas. The grapes and the bacon add an unexpected, but flavorful, twist. Add chopped cooked chicken to make this an entree.

GRAPE SALAD WITH A TWIST
This is a little different from other recipes I have seen posted. The first time I saw it I couldn't imagine the combination of ingredients but take my word for it, this is delicious. A wonderful combination of flavors and textures. Try it! You will love it! It's difficult to estimate how much this serves but it serves quite a few people. I have a niece who not only requests that I make this for family gatherings, but she eats it by the bowlful!

Steps:
- Very carefully warm marshmallow cream in microwave; 5 or 6 seconds at a time. It only needs to be just slightly warm, not hot. If you aren't careful, it will bubble out of the jar. Watch it very carefully to avoid a mess! (I speak from experience!)
- In medium bowl combine marshmallow cream, softened cream cheese, and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Stir in cheddar cheese and mix well.
- Wash, stem and dry grapes. Put in large bowl and pour dressing over grapes. Mix carefully and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Just before serving add chopped pecans. Stir and enjoy.

Tips:
- Choose ripe and flavorful grapes: The quality of the grapes you use will greatly impact the taste of the salad. Look for grapes that are plump, firm, and have a deep color.
- Use a variety of grapes: Using a mix of different grape varieties will add depth and complexity to the salad. Consider using red, green, and black grapes, as well as seedless and seeded varieties.
- Don't overmix the salad: Gently toss the salad just until the ingredients are combined. Overmixing can cause the grapes to break down and release their juices, making the salad watery.
- Chill the salad before serving: Chilling the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
- Serve the salad with a variety of toppings: Chopped nuts, crumbled cheese, and fresh herbs are all great additions to grape salad. You can also drizzle the salad with a balsamic vinegar or honey dressing.
Conclusion:
Grape salad is a refreshing and flavorful dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its variety of colors and textures, this salad is sure to please everyone at your table. Whether you are looking for a light and healthy snack or a side dish to accompany your main meal, grape salad is a great choice.
