Steps:
- 1. Mix all together and place in clear container. Dollar General sells "Cheddar Whales", almost as good as the "Fish". This mix is a nice blend of Sweet and Salty -- Crunchy and Chewy (Raisins)
- 2. Hide the container!
- 3. You could add shelled Sunflower seeds or shelled Pumpkin seeds also. Or Craisons (Semi-dried Cranberries) for extra color and chew. Or get Creative.
Tips:
- Choose high-quality ingredients for the best flavor and texture. Look for nuts that are fresh and not rancid, and use a variety of dried fruits for a colorful and flavorful mix.
- Toast the nuts before adding them to the mix. This will enhance their flavor and make them more crunchy.
- Chop the nuts and dried fruits into small pieces so that they are easy to eat. You can also use a food processor to chop the ingredients, but be careful not to over-process them.
- Add a variety of seeds to the mix for added nutrition and crunch. Some popular choices include sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds.
- Sweeten the mix with honey or maple syrup, if desired. You can also add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness.
- Store the gorp mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. You can also store it in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
