Tips:

  • Use a 9-inch pie plate for this recipe. A larger or smaller pie plate will result in a pie that is too thick or too thin.
  • For the best flavor, use fresh pecans. If you only have access to stale pecans, toast them in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes before using.
  • Don't overmix the pie filling. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense pie.
  • Bake the pie until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. A toothpick inserted into the center of the pie should come out clean.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will allow the filling to set and the flavors to develop.

Conclusion:

This golden pecan pie is a delicious and classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its rich, buttery filling and flaky crust, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert to make, give this golden pecan pie a try. You won't be disappointed!
