EASY ORANGE CRANBERRY GLAZE

Easy Orange Cranberry Glaze image

A good, easy, yummy glaze that can be used on chicken or turkey. I came up with this a few years ago for Thanksgiving, to change up the old boring turkey. Everyone loved it. There was no left-over turkey that year.

Tips:

  • For the best results, use fresh cranberries. Frozen cranberries can be used, but they will not be as flavorful.
  • Be sure to rinse the cranberries thoroughly before using them.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the cranberries by hand. Just be sure to chop them finely.
  • The dough for these biscuits is very sticky. Be sure to flour your hands well before handling it.
  • Don't overwork the dough. Overworking will make the biscuits tough.
  • Be sure to chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the biscuits to rise properly.
  • Bake the biscuits until they are golden brown on top. Overbaking will make them dry.
  • The glaze for these biscuits is optional, but it adds a nice sweetness and shine.

Conclusion:

These glazed cranberry biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. The biscuits are light and fluffy, and the cranberries add a tart and tangy flavor. The glaze is the perfect finishing touch, adding a sweetness and shine that makes these biscuits irresistible.
