Steps:
- Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Line a 13 by 9 by 2-inch-baking pan with parchment or wax paper, so that the edges of the paper come up the sides. Lightly butter the paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Combine the semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolates and the butter in a heatproof medium bowl. Fill a medium saucepan with a couple inches of water and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Turn off the heat. Set the bowl on the pan, over the heated water, to melt the chocolate gently. Whisk until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until evenly blended. Add the dry ingredients and mix just until blended. Take care not to over mix the batter. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out coated with a fudge-y crumb, about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool the brownies in the pan on a rack. To make the glaze, put the semi-sweet chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan, boil the heavy cream, and pour it over the chocolate. Let stand for 5 minutes, then stir until melted and smooth. Spread the glaze evenly over the brownies and let set at room temperature.
- Lift the edges of the paper to take the brownies out of the pan. Cut the brownies into 24 squares. Serve.

Shortly after we married, my husband asked if I would bake up a pan of brownies for him to take to work. I said, "Sure-I have the best recipe." He liked to cook, too, and said hehad the best recipe. To settle the matter, we each baked a batch and let his co-workers decide. My recipe won!

TRIPLE ORANGE FUDGY BROWNIES WITH ORANGE GLAZED PECANS
This is truly a labor of love. After all my conversations with the ladies in "The Power of Orange" group in Town Square I kept thinking about what I could make with orange marmalade and Tang drink mix that I bought. I love chocolate and orange mixed together and so I began thinking and thinking. Sorta like Winnie the Pooh when he...

Steps:
- 1. Prepare you brownie mix and pour into a greased 9X13 pan
- 2. Blend the cream cheese, marmalade, powdered sugar, orange juice, vanilla together. Whisk your eggs in a separate bowl and then add to the mix. Blend well. Should be a creamier easy spreadable consistancy. Now pour that over the brownies mix and gently spread over the top to cover. Next, take your fudge sauce and drizzle on top of cream cheese mixture. I used a knife and spreaded it out over the top. Bake as directed at 350 degrees but check on it. It may take more time due to the layering.
- 3. Prepare your frosting and set aside. The frosting was harder to give you amounts because I just kept putting more tang until I got my desired color and taste. Also, you may want to put more or less powdered sugar too.
- 4. The pecans are extremely tasty but I burnt them to blackness the first batch trying to roast them. lol Seriously though, they are expensive and I told myself you have to eat those. lol....I started eating them and couldn't eat anymore because they were too burnt. Well, you take this mixture (except for pecans) and cook in in a pan till it comes to a boil. I cooked mine for a few minutes and then took it off the burner. But, you want to cook it longer till a syrup type texture. Maybe 8 to 10 minutes. Then, pour your 2 cups of roasted pecans into the glaze and mix thoroughly. Then place them on parchment paper and spread them out to dry.
- 5. Once you remove your brownies from oven let cool and then ice. Top with your orange glazed pecans.

GLAZED MINT-FROSTED BROWNIES
I've been looking for this recipe. It is one of my favorite brownie recipes. The brownies are frosted with a mint frosting and then another layer of unsweetened chocolate goes on top that hardens. The sweetness and the bitterness make a very interesting combination.

Tips:
- Use a good quality chocolate. The chocolate is the star of the show in these brownies, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a chocolate that is at least 70% cocoa solids.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter can make the brownies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. Overbaking the brownies will make them dry and crumbly.
- Let the brownies cool completely before glazing. This will help the glaze to set properly.
- Use a variety of glazes. There are many different glazes that you can use on these brownies. Some popular options include chocolate ganache, caramel sauce, and peanut butter frosting.
Conclusion:
Glazed brownies are a delicious and elegant dessert that are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized with a variety of glazes. With a little planning, you can create a truly unique and memorable dessert that your friends and family will love.
