PEACH KUCHEN
"KUCHEN IS a filling dessert for this German meal. It's not too sweet, and you can use virtually any of you favorite fruits. As a child, I took great pride in arranging the fruit in the pan. We always made this dessert on the same day of the meal so it would be warm and fresh. A dollop of whipped cream on top was an added treat!

Tips:
- For the best flavor, use ripe, juicy peaches. Look for peaches that are fragrant and have a slight give when you press them gently.
- To easily peel the peaches, score the skin with a sharp knife and then immerse them in boiling water for about 30 seconds. The skin will then slip right off.
- If you don't have time to make your own pie crust, you can use a store-bought one. Just be sure to pre-bake it according to the package directions.
- You can also use other fruits in this kuchen, such as apples, blueberries, or cherries. Just be sure to adjust the amount of sugar and flour accordingly.
- Serve the kuchen warm with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream.
Conclusion:
This German fresh peach kuchen is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It's a great way to use up fresh peaches, and it's sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
