1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
8 garlic cloves, minced

Steps:

  • Line bottom of a greased 6-qt. slow cooker with three-fourths of the lemon slices. Place turkey over lemons, breast side up. 6 -8 garlic cloves
1/4 cup lemon, rind of, grated
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning

6 -6 1/2 lbs turkey breast
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
salt and pepper
1 medium onion
4 garlic cloves

Steps:

  • Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Rub turkey all over with the oil.
  • Carefully pull back skin over breast and rub with seasonings.
  • Place breast, meaty side up into a 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Peel the onion, cut it into quarters and place around the edges of the pot.
