Time 18m

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 premade pizza dough
1 c garlic butter
1-1 1/2 c shredded mozzerella
1 jar(s) favorite dill pickle slices
1 small onion sliced thin
SPICES AND ADD INS
hymalayan pink salt
cracked black pepper
dill weed
garlic powder
fresh dill
garlic oil, or sub oil
everything but the bagel seasoning
parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. This can be made with Your own dough recipe. I buy dough balls for convenience.Thaw let rise under cloth. Spread pizza dough out on 14-16 inch pizza pan. Spread bottom with garlic butter. I Make with butter, grated garlic, garlic powder, s&p and in this case dillweed. Drizzle with garlic oil. Sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning over whole pizza crust included, for extra flavor. Optional. I use this seasoning for a lot of My pizza doughs.
  • 2. Next step is Your cheese. I use a shredded mozzarella. I'm generous with the cheese. Top with patted dry pickle slices & Onion slices if using.. I usually have the pickles touching, in this case I was in a hurry. But highly suggest the more the better!
  • 3. Top with a bit of parmesan cheese and dill weed. Bake in 500 degree oven for 7-8 min. Remove add fresh dill and more parm if You wish. Cut in 8ths. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For the best results, use a pre-made pizza dough. This will save you time and effort, and ensure that your pizza has a crispy crust.
  • If you don't have a pizza stone, you can bake the pizza on a greased baking sheet. Just be sure to preheat the oven to the highest temperature possible.
  • To prevent the pizza from sticking to the baking sheet or pizza stone, sprinkle a little cornmeal on the surface before adding the dough.
  • Don't overload the pizza with toppings. Too many toppings will make the pizza soggy.
  • Bake the pizza until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. This should take about 10-15 minutes.

Conclusion:

This garlic dill pickle lovers' pizza is a unique and flavorful twist on the classic pepperoni pizza. The combination of garlic, dill, and pickles is unexpected but delicious. If you're a fan of dill pickles, you'll love this pizza. And if you're not, you might just be surprised by how much you enjoy it. Give it a try and see for yourself!
