Tips:
- To make sure your pie crust is flaky, use a pastry blender or two forks to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs. And don't overwork the dough, or it will become tough.
- Chill the pie dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out. This will help prevent it from shrinking in the oven.
- To prevent the fudge filling from becoming too thick, make sure to use a heavy saucepan and stir constantly. You can also add a little bit of milk or cream if needed.
- To make sure your brownie layer is fudgy, use a combination of butter and oil. The butter will add richness, while the oil will help keep the brownies moist.
- Don't overbake the pie. The brownies should be set but still slightly gooey in the center.
- Serve the pie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Conclusion:
This fudge brownie pie is the perfect dessert for any chocolate lover. It's rich, decadent, and easy to make. With its flaky pie crust, fudgy filling, and brownie layer, this pie is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this fudge brownie pie a try. You won't be disappointed!
