1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup ground pecans
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple
3 medium firm bananas, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
3-1/2 cups cold milk
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant lemon pudding mix
TOPPING:
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

3 oz pkg. any flavor,jello gelatin
1 1/2 c boiling water

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve jello in the boiling water. Stir until all particles are dissolved. Let set until mixture reaches room temperature. Then add one of the following methods.
  • 2. Use this method 1: Add 2 cups milk slowly , stirring to blend.(it will look curdled- it's ok).Pour into individual dessert dishes. OR:

1 Kool-aid packet (any berry flavor: strawberry, raspberry, cherry)
1 cup granulated sugar
¼ cup corn starch
2 cups cold water
2-4 cups sliced strawberries or fresh raspberries (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine Kool-aid packet, granulated sugar, and cornstarch in a 1 quart sauce pan. Mix well.
  • Add two cups cold water and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Stir constantly.
  • As mixture is getting close to coming to a boil it will begin to slightly thicken.
  • Once mixture is boiling, turn the heat down to medium or medium low and let it continue to boil (stirring constantly) for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before adding fruit. If you do not plan to add fruit for a cake topping and want to eat it like pudding, pour danish dessert into prepared dishes and let cool.
  • I prefer to let mine cool in the fridge before adding the fruit.

2 cups milk
3 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges
1 package (3 ounces) cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix
