CAPPUCCINO

A cappuccino makes a great start to the day -- or a wonderful afternoon pick-me-up.

Provided by Martha Stewart

Categories     Food & Cooking     Breakfast & Brunch Recipes

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 cup espresso

Steps:

  • Using the steam attachment on an espresso machine, warm and froth milk. Divide espresso between 2 coffee cups. Pour 1/2 cup of the warmed milk from beneath the froth into each cup. Spoon milk foam on top and serve.

Tips:

Here are some tips for making the perfect cappuccino pie:

  • Make sure all of your ingredients are cold before you start baking. This will help to create a light and fluffy pie.
  • Don’t overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the pie tough.
  • Bake the pie until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will help the flavors to develop.
  • If you don’t have a springform pan, you can use a regular 9-inch pie plate. Just be sure to trim the excess dough from the edges before baking.
  • You can use any type of coffee you like in this recipe. I like to use a medium-roast coffee for a balanced flavor.
  • If you don’t have any instant coffee powder, you can make your own by brewing a strong cup of coffee and then letting it cool and evaporate until it becomes a thick syrup.

Conclusion:

Cappuccino pie is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is light and fluffy, with a rich and creamy coffee flavor. Whether you are a coffee lover or not, you are sure to enjoy this pie. So next time you are looking for a special dessert, give cappuccino pie a try.
