1/2 c warm water
1 pkg yeast
1 Tbsp sugar
4 1/2 c sifted unbleached flour
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1 can(s) evaporated milk
2 greased 1 pound coffee cans with lids

Steps:

  • 1. Mix first 3 ingredients warm water, yeast, and sugar - let stand until bubbly (about 15 minutes).
  • 2. Now mix other ingredients in separate bowl, then add the yeast mixture. knead the dough for 10 min.
  • 3. Fill the two greased 1-pound coffee cans half full with dough and place greased plastic lids on the cans.
  • 4. Let bread rise in warm place until coffee can lids pop off.
  • 5. Bake 45 minutes at 350°. Enjoy your coffee can bread!

3 bone-in beef short ribs (about 1 1/2 pounds)
2 tablespoons 321 Spice Blend, recipe follows
3 cups granulated garlic
2 cups ground black pepper
1 cup salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees F.
  • Trim the excess fat off the meat. Coat the ribs with the 321 Spice Blend on all sides.
  • Place the ribs in the smoker over indirect heat until brown on all sides, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.
