Categories     Pepper     Dessert     Freeze/Chill

Yield 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 cup milk
1 (2-inch) cinnamon stick
1 strip orange peel (from 1 small orange)
4 whole cloves
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
2 cups heavy cream, whipped
Cinnamon sticks and orange peel twists for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine milk, cinnamon stick, orange peel and cloves in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors. Set aside to cool to room temperature; strain. Combine milk mixture, vanilla, condensed milk and TABASCO® Sauce in a large bowl and mix well; gently fold in whipped cream. Cover and freeze until firm, stirring once.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the ice cream will taste. This is especially important for the fruit, as fresh fruit has a more intense flavor than frozen or canned fruit.
  • Chill the ingredients thoroughly before churning: This will help the ice cream freeze more quickly and smoothly.
  • Use a high-quality ice cream maker: A good ice cream maker will make a big difference in the quality of the ice cream. Look for a maker that has a powerful motor and a large capacity.
  • Churn the ice cream until it is thick and creamy: This will take about 20-30 minutes. If you churn the ice cream too long, it will become icy.
  • Store the ice cream in the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving: This will allow the ice cream to ripen and develop its full flavor.

Conclusion:

Fire and ice ice cream is a delicious and refreshing treat that is perfect for any occasion. With its combination of sweet and tangy flavors, this ice cream is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a unique and flavorful dessert, give fire and ice ice cream a try.
