1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup grated onion
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1-1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
1 cup canola oil

Steps:

  • In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the vinegar, sugar and onion; set aside. Combine salt, mustard, paprika and 2 tablespoons chili sauce to form a paste. Add remaining chili sauce and mix well. , Pour into vinegar mixture; add oil and shake well. Store in the refrigerator.

1 c olive oil
2/3 c ketchup
1/2 - 2/3 c sugar - start with 1/2 if want sweeter add more
1/2 c white vinegar
3 Tbsp minced sweet onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp each - salt, pepper, paprika
sometimes i add some garlic powder as well...1/2 tsp
