2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
two cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 cup catsup
three quarter cup prepared chili sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon louisiana hot sauce
juice of one half lemon
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
six center cut pork loin t-bone chops, 1 1/2 inches thick
tasty pork chop seasoning, as desired, recipe follows

Steps:

  • 1. to make the barbecue sauce, in a medium pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion and garlic and cook for about four minutes, stirring often, until the onion is very soft. Add the catsup, chili sauce, vinegar, mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice, and pepper. Mix well and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and add the Brown sugar. 4 rib or loin pork chops, about 1 1/2-inch thick (12 to 14 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small red onion, peeled, sliced thin
3 peaches, pitted, cut into medium sized cubes
2 tablespoons peeled and minced fresh ginger
2 medium ripe tomatoes, cut into medium sized cubes
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup light or dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground allspice
