EGG FREE DAIRY FREE MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE

Egg Free Dairy Free Moist Chocolate Cake image

An excellent chocolate cake that is less crumbly than some egg free recipes and very moist. It also rises well and doesn't stick to the pan. Cocoa can be adjusted to taste if you like more/less chocolate flavor.

Time 24m

1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla (or coffee powder)

  • Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake 20-25 minutes (but I don't mind it if it's still a bit moist in the middle).

Tips:

  • Use good quality chocolate: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your cake. Look for chocolate with a high cocoa content (70% or higher) and avoid chocolate chips, which contain stabilizers and emulsifiers that can affect the texture of your cake.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in a tough, dry cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake at the right temperature: The ideal temperature for baking this cake is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Any higher and the cake may brown too quickly on the outside before it has a chance to cook through in the center. Any lower and the cake may not rise properly.
  • Use a toothpick to test for doneness: Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is done. If it comes out with batter or crumbs attached, the cake needs to bake for a few minutes longer.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.

Conclusion:

This egg-free, dairy-free chocolate cake is a delicious and moist treat that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people with food allergies or dietary restrictions. With its rich chocolate flavor and fluffy texture, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
