This recipe was my grandmothers,my mother made this one-egg cake when we were little. This cake was made only when one of her (11)children had a birthday. It made us feel special, being just like all the other kids. I make this cake, because its easy and quick to make. Enjoy!

- 1. mix all this together,i use a whisk.and pour into a greased round pan,it only makes one layer,its a very basic cake.you can frost this,or i take a can of crushed pineapple,and drain it well,then put it first in the pan,and then some brown sugar and melted butter on that,and then pour the cake over it,and bake .when done ,invert on a plate.and serve with whip cream,this is perfect for 2 people,or a single person.
