Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream together the butter and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer for a full 3 minutes.
- Scrape sides and add in vanilla and egg. Mix until combined.
- Add flour and baking powder to the bowl. Mix slowly at first gradually getting faster until the dough comes together. The texture should be like Playdoh. Add a little flour or water if needed to get it to a soft, pliable consistency.
- Turn out onto a floured surface. Use a rolling pin and roll until about 1/4 inch thick. (The cookies will not rise while baking, they will not get thinner while baking. Roll out to your desired FINISHED thickness.)
- Use cookie cutters and cut out desired shapes. Transfer the cookies to a silicone lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 6-8 minutes or until the centers are puffy and no longer glossy. Pull the cookies out of the oven BEFORE they start turning brown. If they turn brown, the cookie will be dry and 'crackery' instead of soft and chewy.
- Frost with Sugar Cookie Frosting and Enjoy!

EASY NO CHILL SUGAR COOKIES
These cookies are amazing. Sugar cookies take so long to make when you have to chill them for an hour, then roll them, then cut them. These are ready to bake as soon as the mixing is done. They are delish and will disappear in a flash

EASY NO-CHILL SUGAR COOKIES
This recipe is from Wilton and was on the back of some cookie cutters I recently purchased. I liked that it didn't require chilling. It's a rich, buttery cookie, very tasty.

- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 6 - 7 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. It helps to line pans with parchment paper for easy cookie removal.

Tips:
- Use unsalted butter for the best flavor. If you only have salted butter, omit the extra salt in the recipe.
- Make sure the butter and eggs are at room temperature before you start baking. This will help the ingredients mix together more smoothly.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
- If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use a wine bottle or even a glass to roll out the dough.
- If you want to make fun shapes, use cookie cutters. You can also use a knife to score the dough into different shapes.
- Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
- Let the cookies cool completely before you frost them. If you frost the cookies while they are still warm, the frosting will melt and run off.
Conclusion:
These no-chill sugar cookies are a quick and easy treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy, with a delicious buttery flavor. You can decorate them with frosting, sprinkles, or whatever else you like. No matter how you choose to enjoy them, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
